Eastern Medicine Singers

We partnered with Eastern Medicine Singers, an Algonquin Drum Group from Providence RI. The Eastern Medicine Singers are dedicated to keeping the eastern woodlands American Indian culture alive. The drum is made up of RI, NY, NJ & Southeastern Massachusetts Tribes, singing and drumming in the language of Massachuset & Wampanoag dialect. Daryl Black Eagle Jamieson and three other drummers opened The Sea Pageant with powerful music that grounded us all, just as the eclipse began.
